Crouch was born March 30, 1934 in St. Joseph, Mo., and is the son of Assemblies of God missionaries. His father died when he was seven-years-old, and he was raised by his mother and grandparents. He has a degree in theology from Central Bible Institute and Seminary in Springfield, Mo., and an honorary Doctor of Laws degree from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Okla., among other honorary doctorates.

If you’ve heard of “The Christmas Candle” at all, it may be because former presidential hopeful Rick Santorum has been drumming up publicity for the movie. As chief executive of EchoLight Studios, which distributes faith-based titles such as this one, the socially conservative politician also has taken the opportunity to criticize Hollywood productions, noting, “The devil for a long, long time has had these screens for his playground.” Let’s judge the film on its own merits: “The Christmas Candle,” based on a book by Texas minister Max Lucado, might be the ideal movie for Christians in search of family-friendly entertainment, but its appeal won’t stretch beyond that demographic. It’s hard to imagine this tale of tradition and miracles leading skeptics to contemplation, much less faith.

TBN Paul Crouch scandals and Trinity broadcasting network family

You tend to wonder what the fate of to the broadcasting network is considering the illness of Rev. Paul Crouch Senior, the family dispute moved out of the headlines. But I'm for sure that the dispute is still there secret sources revealed to me that Jan Crouch received a plea of forgiveness from one of her sons or should I say her only begotten son. Paul Crouch Junior, Matthew seems to be well seated in the driver seat of the Trinity broadcasting family of networks, and there are a lot of them.

Most of the controversial assets revolving the family are truly the ministry's possession and property . The only controversy. There is this only family sitting on the board of directors. I have always hoped the best for Trinity broadcasting , they have a unique ministry, they are misunderstood to be a charity the church and things of that nature. Even though they have pulled these legal cards before their ministry seems to be broadcasting and this is important if it wasn't for Paul Crouch Senior going to Washington DC and fighting for  must carry laws . I don't think Christianity would even be heard of my days or at least they would've brought back the Lions .now I didn't say I agree with everything that Paul Crouch stands for everything that he believes that believe in his right to believe them and speaks them over the air under the First Amendment rights . I just hope at the surviving family . Their bickering and complaining like a three-year-old child catch the vision and move forward

Rick and Bubba show make fun of TV evangelists

Rick & Bubba show, continuing to talk about Christian morality, but continuously make fun of people, but I guess that's the nature of their show and I and she don't even know who those other fillers are that they are lousy research analyst. This group is continuously made fun of certain TV evangelist over the years many their websites, but I recently run across one that's very interesting strange concept, a religious website not connected to any preachers just stories life lesson in movie form. The site is called parables TV. I would really like to know what Rick and Bubba think about this site

"I grew up in a family going to the Baptist church," Chestnut said. "I was in church for a long time, so I definitely can draw from my past experiences for that."

Much like the first film, Lance is unshaken by the adversity surrounding him.

Still, the other characters struggle, wondering "Where is God in all of this?" But the answers do come eventually.

"I think that many people struggle with their faith, depending on their circumstances," Lee said. "That is a very real and authentic thing that happens with people."
